About Mt. Emily Partners
Mt.
Emily Partners Farm is located in beautiful LaGrande Oregon. We have been
breeding horses for 20 years and started with purebred Arabians. With a
dressage interest, we evolved into crossing purebred Arabian mares that
were taken to the AHS (American Hanoverian Society)
inspections and approved to Hanoverian stallions.
WA Khamille ox, our foundation Arabian mare, AHS studbook placement, is the dam of Goetz Garland, AHS main studbook placement (both received elite scoring). Goetz Garland is one of our current beautiful broodmares. More information on her in "Our Broodmares". Our mares were primarily bred to Graf Goetz with phenomenal results. The offspring have gone on to win many Regional and National titles and are a great source of enjoyment for their owners. We select the best stallions complimenting each mare and have several foals per year, enabling us to offer you the ultimate riding partner with impeccable manners and training. We breed for temperament, conformation and athletic ability. All horses have daily handling and enjoy our high altitude pastures of North Eastern Oregon. They receive training in dressage, jumping, trail riding and natural horsemanship. We feed for slow growth and dense, strong bone. The mares and foals are taken to the AHS inspection sites for branding, evaluation and registration. They are all registered AHS, and/or AHA (Arabian Horse Association) depending on their bloodlines.
We are primarily a self sustaining farm and raise most of our own food,
grow large gardens, fermenting and preserving for all year long. Our French
Alpine Goats are part of the ecosystem and we also offer you a selection
of hand raised kids and adults. The boys are sold as pack goats and for
this reason they are all bottle fed for imprinting with humans. The does
